The Boko Haram terrorists on Friday killed 11 of its members for attempting to defect from the sect. The former rebels had allegedly fled from a Boko Haram camp near Miringa village in Biu Local Governmet area of Borno State.
A 20-man killer team was hurriedly commanded by the sect and dispatched to go after the rebels. They were rounded up in the village and put on trial. The sect’s emergency court found them guilty of desertion.
