Photo by www.animalfactsencyclopedia.com Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we picture Koalas as cuddly, gentle creatures that sit in trees chewing Eucalyptus leaves. However, this video posted by Ebony Churchill, a daily farmer, shows that these tiny bears can be quite a handful. In the video, Churchill tries to ride away from a koala chasing her on an ATV, and when the koala eventually catches up to her, she jumps off to find the bear climbing on to the back tire. Photo by Ebony Churchill Photo by Ebony Churchill According to Bill Ellis, Director of the Koala Ecology Group at the University of Queensland, the animal’s behavior was very unusual as wild koalas normally don’t approach vehicles or people, especially in the daytime. Koalas at the zoo are usually lazily slumped in tree branches, and appear to be very slow, however wild koalas are much more agile, and can even be dangerous. In an interview with a Melbourne news station, Ellis explained that “A wild koala is quite a dangerous animal to deal with unless you know what you’re doing.
