It turned out to be the mummy of a woman that lived 700 years ago.
They agreed that, judging by the level of preparation and jewelery, the mummy belonged to the Ming Dynasty. The mummy was in such good condition that they took her out of the tomb easily.
They were very well preserved, as was most of the clothing.
The facial features are astoundingly marked. The preservation techniques
that were involved turned out to be extremely efficient.
