The five people injured in Monday’s fatal truck accident in Abuja are responding to treatment, the Medical Director of Kubwa General Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Danfulani, said yesterday.
Two others, who suffered fracture on their legs in the truck accident which claimed the lives of 11 people at the Dutsen Alhaji Junction, Kubwa Expressway, Abuja, were willingly taken to a local orthopaedic home by their relatives.
Dr. Ahmed said one of the victims is already in the ward while two others are still at the Accident and Emergency Unit due to the nature of their injuries.
He said one of the two victims at the ACU had injuries to the head but that they are responding to treatment.
It would be recalled that  commercial motorcyclists have been banned from the Dutsen Alhaji Junction on the Kubwa Expressway as their activities were restricted to the satellite town.
