While many celebs go all out, a few keep their wedding very private
 
Gone are the days when celebrities blew trumpets and threw magnificent ceremonies every time for their weddings and birthdays.
These days, celebrities are embracing intimate weddings and leaving lavish, flamboyant celebrations behind.
Here are a few celebrities who have had secret weddings and engagements in the last one year.

D’banj

Koko Master and his Kokolet

D’banj got married in July 2016 in a very private wedding at his Lekki residence. Although he had confirmed to TheNETng that he would be taking the bold step in 2015, D’banj sure performed his script perfectly and has kept mum about his bride.


TheNETng gathered that his ‘secret bride’ said to be born to an American father and a part Nigerian, part South African mother has been identified as Didi Kilgrow and are reportedly expecting a ‘koko’ junior together.

The cute couple announced that their engagement on May 3, 2017 after they had been secretly engaged for a couple of months.

They proceeded to having their introduction on May 6, 2017 with close friends and family.

TheNETng gathered that November 2017 is being considered for their white wedding.

The former Miss World and her Prince Charming, Ishaya Danjuma – a son to billionaire business man, TY Danjuma, also shocked their fans when she released pictures of her intimate wedding ceremony in Marrakech, Morroco in April 2017.

They got married in London

The Jenifa actress also got married to music producer and director, JJC Skillz in August 2016 after dating him for a few months.


Their London wedding was only attended by a few people close to the couple’s camp.



Di’Ja

Di’Ja and her husband

Until her union produced a boy, Di’Ja refused to disclose her marital status to the world. She however admitted eventually that she was married in July 2016.



Oritsefemi

Oritsefemi and Nabila

The musician and his PR executive wife, Nabila Fash, exchanged marital vows in the presence of few friends and family in a private ceremony at the singer’s new Lekki home in May 2017.
