Ikeja to face four days blackout

Ikeja Electric says it wishes to notify all its customers at Alausa, Ikeja Shopping Mall, Allen Avenue, Ogundana, Alade, Aromire and environs that there will be power interruption for four days.
The company, in a statement on Sunday, said the interruption would occur from September 2 to 5.
The Head, Communication Strategy, Ikeja Electric, Mr. Pekun Adeyanju, said, “The power interruption is to enable the company to carry out replacement and upgrade of the equipment” at its Alausa injection substation with the aim of achieving better power supply services to the areas.

He said, “All efforts will be made to restore power on September 6, 2015.
“Ikeja Electric appeals to the affected communities and thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst we carry out the work”
