The Met Police has released mugshots of 19 suspects it’s hoping to catch before Christmas.
The force is planning to display the images on the side of police vans across London from Wednesday.
The suspects are wanted for several offences, including robbery, drugs charges, GBH, kidnapping and possessing offensive weapons.
Detective Chief Superintendent Lee Hill, head of the Met’s Violent Crime Taskforce, said: “We are asking the public to be additional eyes and ears to help us locate people we need to speak to in connection with a number of serious offences.
“We often get asked by the public how they can help keep their communities safe, and providing information such as this is enormously helpful both in preventing and detecting crime.
“People shouldn’t just view it as ‘helping the police’, you are directly helping your communities and the wider London community."

The individuals include suspects from specific incidents, breached bails or probation conditions and people who have not turned up to court.
The Met said anyone who supplied information would be treated dealt with in strict confidence and could supply details anonymously to Crime Stoppers.

Jailed: 'Cowardly' speeding driver who killed girl, 10, while 'off his face'

Jailed: 'Cowardly' speeding driver who killed girl, 10, while 'off his face'

A ‘cowardly’ speeding driver who fled after he knocked down and killed a 10-year-old girl while ‘off his face’ was jailed today.
Connor Marsden, 24, had downed pints of lager and cider in a local club an hour before he hit Melissa Tate while driving at 47mph in a 20mph zone.
He broke down in tears when the arresting officer told him the much-loved schoolgirl had died, following the crash in Kenton, Newcastle.
Melissa’s family donated her organs after the crash on September 25, saving the lives of sick children.
Prosecutors said Marsden was aware he had hit the girl and fled Newcastle after the crash, hiding in Easington, County Durham.
His actions were described as ‘an appalling act of cowardice and self-preservation’ as he was jailed for seven years and four months on Thursday.
Judge Amanda Rippon jailed him then praised the girl’s mother who made a moving victim impact statement.

Addressing the family about the sentence, the judge said: “I know it’s not enough, it’s all I can do. They have my very best wishes.”
Melissa died in hospital a day after being struck by the uninsured, unlicensed driver’s Renault Kangoo.
Mark Guiliani, prosecuting said a witness saw Marsden afterwards, saying: “He described him as off his face, incoherent.”
Another witness, a member of the Institute of Advanced Drivers, saw the van approaching the scene of the collision and recalled Marsden was driving “like a maniac”.
The witness said a group of children was clearly visible at the side of the road.
Mr Guiliani said Melissa was playing with friends and was knocked down as she tried to cross the narrow residential street, about 150 metres from her home.
She died in hospital the next day – her sister’s sixth birthday.
Police arrested Marsden in Easington 20 hours after the collision. He refused a police request to provide a blood sample.

The 42-year-old victim said he was walking on the street when he was attacked by four men and punched in the face. The assailants yelled, "We hate Jews," the victim, who didn't want to be named, told CBS New York.
"One terrible punch, like full of power, like a lot of power in one punch," the victim said. "Terrible pain on the teeth and on the eyes."
He said he then heard one of the assailants yell, "He's not down," and another assailant reply, "Oh, he's not down?"
"Then I start to scream and fight, and scream for help," the victim said.
The victim said he ran with two good Samaritans to a police precinct. A week later, the victim said he still has bruising on his face.

A woman forced to cover up her “inappropriate” outfit on a flight has been left “mortified” by her experience.
Emily O’Connor, 21, from Solihull, claimed Thomas Cook staff threatened to remove her from a flight she boarded from Birmingham to Tenerife.
O’Connor said she was told to cover up by airline staff as she got on board the aeroplane.
She was later told she would be removed from the plane unless she put a jacket on, according to her account.
“It was so mortifying,”she said .
“I was so upset and they could clearly see that yet they continued to note how inappropriate and offensive I was. I was really close to crying.”

These are 9 things Dagrin would’ve achieved if he were alive in 2017

These are 9 things Dagrin would’ve achieved if he were alive in 2017

It’s been seven long years since Dagrin died, but his legacy remains engraved in our memories.
Barack O’Grin as he was fondly called was involved in a ghastly accident on April 14, 2010, just as he was mounting the ladder of greatness after several years of hustling.

But have you ever wondered what the late rapper would’ve engaged in if he was alive in 2017?
In remembrance of his achievement as an indigenous rapper, we have the following listed.

First off, he would’ve introduced the likes of Olamide, Reminisce, CDQ and the rest to us.

Not that Dagrin started indigenous rap in Nigeria, but he was one of the pioneers of the new school indigenous rap.

So it’s only right he would have brought out the likes of Olamide, Reminisce, CDQ or even Lil Kesh –  and all of this would’ve happened with just one feature in either a song or video.

At least four albums are guaranteed.

Maybe he wouldn’t be dropping albums every year as Olamide, but the late rapper would have pushed out at least four studio albums.

These albums would’ve made him an undisputed king in the rap music scene.

He would’ve done anything to get a 50 Cent feature

While the rapper was alive, he mentioned in various interviews that he was a big fan of 50 Cent – and as a matter of fact, the American rapper was his biggest inspiration.

Now, going by the way Nigerian artistes have been getting international recognition, it’s only right we would’ve heard a Dagrin-50 Cent joint or at worst a collaboration being in the works.

Cult following on social media

dagrin death anniversary

Even till date, Dagrin still has a cult following on the streets. This is amongst people who don’t even use social media as much. His Twitter account was gradually becoming famous before he died.

Let’s say if he was still alive, his Twitter account should have over 1.5 million followers, and Instagram with at least two million followers. His works would’ve been easier to distribute via social media.

Won more Headies than any indigenous rapper with at least one MTV Africa award.

The Headies wouldn’t be much of a problem for Dagrin – seeing as he would have a shelf full of the accolade. But the debate is if he would have won an MTV Africa Music award?

Well, if the likes of South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest who infuses local language in his rhymes can, its shouldn’t be a problem for Dagrin as well.

A rap beef would’ve ensued with a rapper Nigerian rapper

Ever wondered if Dagrin would’ve had any beef with a Nigerian rapper? Well, it is very possible a rap beef would’ve taken place – with M.I most especially. These two would’ve been at loggerheads over who is the king of Nigerian rap.

While Dagrin would be the voice of the street and all that comes with it, M.I Abaga would be that ajebutter rapper for the elites.

That said, they were sort of close and even collaborated on joints, but it is still very possible they would’ve had one or two arguments over time.

His label, Misofunyi Entertainment would be a bigger YBNL

Seeing how Olamide has helped raise talents from his YBNL label? Same could be said for Dagrin.

The late rapper could’ve signed a bunch of indigenous rappers, who knows Olamide might just be one of his first signees.

Although Misofunyi Entertainment ran for about two years after the rapper died – but so far, nothing has been heard from the runners.

Making Sossick and YQ into big shots!

                                       Sossick

Like, we would’ve been chasing these guys for interviews while artistes chase them for collabos.

Sossick produced Dagrin’s world famous C.E.O album and churned out hits like ‘Pon Pon’, ‘Ghetto Dreams’, ‘Kondo’, ‘Mo Ti Gboro’ and more.

Singer, YQ was his best friend, and with hit songs like ‘Fimile’, they would have countless more hits together.

Have actual sold out concerts, in stadiums, from Lagos to South Africa and beyond

You recall Jay Z‘s lines on Kanye‘s ‘Never Let Me Down’ where he goes, ‘First I snatched the streets, then I snatched the charts · First I had they ear, now I have they heart’?

That’s the line Dagrin was toeing at the point he met his unfortunate demise in 2010.

He had that charisma to carry a crowd along and we reckon the National Stadium would have been what the Convention Centre is to most artistes these days.

Akogun would’ve been epic if he were alive in 2017!
